Nestled in the beautiful village of Peasemore, against a backdrop of idyllic countryside and right in the heart of a welcoming community, The Fox at Peasemore is just a short drive from Newbury or Wantage, and easily accessible from the A34 and M4.
Since taking it over in 2013, owners Phil & Lauren Davison have transformed The Fox at Peasemore into a true drive-out destination pub, with an excellent reputation for quality food and service, as well as a great selection of local ales, wine, and soft drinks. Sitting right at the heart of its countryside community, everyone is given a warm welcome, children and dogs included.
The Fox at Peasemore really does have something for everyone, whether you’re grabbing a bite to eat after a walk around the beautiful surrounding countryside or enjoying a special celebration with loved ones. Cosy up by the log burner, and or enjoy our new heated, covered garden terrace, filled with flowers and fresh herbs, perfect for a lazy Summer evening.
Whether you’re joining us for a pint or for Sunday lunch, The Fox at Peasemore’s friendly and welcoming atmosphere will leave you in no doubt that it is, above all else... the country pub worth driving out for.
"Superb place to eat"
"Just loved the Fox 1st time visit won’t be the last loved it the menu the surroundings plus the staff were all superb. There were so many choices on menu that appealed we have to return to enjoy some more. The pub was so busy the service still rated first class. Every course was served with perfection a good size portion. The restaurant was well decorated plus seats comfortable which sometimes let a pub down we have found a gem we will be back."
