Set in the beautiful rural village of Peasemore, 6 miles from Newbury and just a 30 minute drive to Oxford or Marlborough. If you are looking for quality private accommodation, for leisure or business, for one night or for longer, perhaps we could be just what your looking for. Our guests have total private use of the letting apartment. This is accessed by a key code, which will be provided, when the booking is confirmed.

"Great escape in the countryside"
"'The Retreat' was a great escape in the countryside. Lauren thought of everything to make us feel welcome including leaving ingredients for a full English breakfast. The location is great for country walks straight from the door and the pub is welcoming with gorgeous food. Would highly recommend and would stay again."

"Such a lovely stay at Philips and Lauren flat, accommodation had everything you could need and very comfy bed, communication was great and Lauren left lots of ingredients for a nice cooked breakfast in the morning. Definitely hope to come back, would certainly recommend."

"Enjoyed one night's stay here, and it was wonderful. The room was very clean, and actually a bit bigger than it seems on the photos. The kitchen was well equipment, including tea/coffee etc which was a nice touch. The food in the pub was fantastic, and at a good price. Will definitely be coming back!"
